Goods receiving

A clear record of what actually arrived.

Bring the delivery count, product details and exceptions together. Your receiving team records the goods at the back door, with the detail the office needs for its next decision.

A demonstration first. A scoped subscription proposal before configuration.

Connect the floor to the office.

A delivery arrives while the invoice is still being checked. A case contains twelve units. Two cases are missing. IntakeBolt helps your team keep these facts with the delivery instead of piecing them together later.

01 / Find the delivery

Start with the right record.

Open the delivery and the products expected. Receiving can take place before invoice approval, so the floor does not have to wait for the office to finish its review.

02 / Count what arrived

Keep cases and units clear.

Scan products on a supported handheld and record the received quantities. Keep shortages, damage and other issues alongside the relevant line.

03 / Review the handover

Complete with the facts.

Review the count and exceptions before completion. Eligible stock updates remain held until invoice approval; a completed count does not bypass sign-off.

The count and delivery difference give the office a specific issue to investigate with the supplier. Recording a shortage does not itself confirm a credit.

Receive while invoice approval is still pending.

Blind receiving starts from an expected manifest derived from an invoice that has not yet been approved. The receiver can see the expected products and quantities while counting; this is not an invoice-free delivery or a hidden-count exercise.

The expected manifest stays visible.

The floor works from the products and quantities already prepared for the delivery, then records what actually arrived.

Approval still controls the handover.

The count and differences can be completed, but eligible stock effects remain held until the invoice is approved.

Make sure it works on your floor.

Devices and connectivity

We confirm your receiving devices, scanning requirements and network coverage during setup. Supported line changes can queue through a connection drop; sign-in and final completion require a connection, and queued changes must finish syncing.

People and systems

Agree who counts deliveries, who reviews invoices and who follows up exceptions. We assess your POS setup before confirming the stock handover and configuration scope.
